Dr. Jonathan Weiss completed his residency in 1988 at the University of Michigan. In addition to practicing at Georgia Dermatology Partners, Dr. Weiss is an adjunct assistant clinical professor of dermatology at Emory University School of Medicine and lectures regularly at national meetings.

He is a past president of the Atlanta Association of Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery and the Georgia Society of Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery and fulfills positions on the Board of Directors and Advisory Council for the Dermatology Foundation He is also a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Medical Association, and the Medical Association of Georgia. He has received the Physician Recognition Award from American Medical Association and American Academy of Dermatology (AAD), received a Presidential Citation Award from the AAD, and has been a Castle-Connolly Top Doctor since 2001.

Dr. Alexandra Charrow is an attending physician and assistant professor at Brigham & Women’s Hospital, and the director of the Hidradenitis Suppurativa and Neutrophilic Dermatosis Clinic. She completed her residency at Harvard Combined Internal Medicine-Dermatology Training Program in 2019.

Dr. Kenneth Gordon, MD is the Chair of the Department of Dermatology at the Medical College of Wisconsin.  He graduated from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in 1990. He went on to complete his residency in internal medicine at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston. He continued on to Northwestern University where he finished his residency in dermatology and a fellowship in immunology. He has contributed to the understanding and treatment of inflammatory skin diseases, psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis for more than 30 years.

Dr. Grimes is the Founder and Director of the Vitiligo and Pigmentation Institute of Southern California. She is also a Clinical Professor of Dermatology at the University of California, Los Angeles. She is nationally and internationally recognized for her work on vitiligo, pigmentary disorders, and many other medical and aesthetic dermatology conditions.

She has received numerous awards in recognition of her outstanding contributions to the field from major dermatologic organizations, as well as long standing inclusion on lists such as Los Angeles Magazine Super Doctor, Best Doctors of America and the Hollywood Reporter’s Top Hollywood Doctors.

Following her lifetime passion for giving back to the community, in 2005, Dr. Grimes founded CARRY, The Coalition for At-Risk Youth. This non-profit organization is focused on foster and at-risk youth, offering pro-bono medical resources, scholarships and it co-sponsors a week long summer camp annually.

Dr. Howa Yeung is an Associate Professor of Dermatology at the Emory University School of Medicine. He is a faculty member of the Cancer Prevention and Control research program at the Winship Cancer Institute and PRISM Health (Programs, Research, & Innovation in Sexual Minority Health) at the Rollins School of Public Health. Dr. Yeung has research expertise on skin diseases that disproportionately affect minority populations, with a focus on those affecting sexual and gender minority patients. We recently talked to him about his career in supporting LGBTQ patients, and his hopes for future research.

Dr. Lindsay Ackerman, MD, is a board-certified dermatologist who practices medical and surgical dermatology with the objective of treating each patient as an individual with unique needs. She was the founding physician of Medical Dermatology Specialists in Phoenix, where she continues to practice outpatient and inpatient dermatology. Dr. Ackerman is an Associate Professor of Dermatology at the University of Arizona, Phoenix, and serves as the medical director of the US Dermatology Partners Clinical Research Institute. She has been the recipient of many honors from Tulane University, the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Medical Association, the Women’s Dermatologic Society, the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, the University of Arizona, and the University of Pennsylvania.

Jack Resneck Jr., MD, received his BA in public policy from Brown University and his MD from UCSF where he also completed his internship in internal medicine, residency in dermatology and fellowship in health policy. President of the American Medical Association from June 2022 to June 2023, Dr. Resneck has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to organized medicine for over 25 years. He is a passionate advocate for physicians and patients, a prominent spokesperson for innovation, and a champion for a more equitable health care system.
